The Charleston Cup which has been resurrected this year.  SSOC members can hang out at one of our three (3) 10 x 10 "tents."  And, as in prior years, we will have our own portalet.  You will need to purchase your own tickets ($25 in advance and $30 at the door PER PERSON), as there are no free tickets for the SSOC.  The Charleston Cup is held at Stono Ferry in Hollywood, SC on Sunday, November 13, 2011.  The first steeplechase starts at Noon, but the gates open at 9:00 AM.  Of course, it is our usual potluck regarding food.   

Of course, this is another day to wear your kilt!  Even kilt-formal is fine.
